Chris Manero | Head Varsity Baseball Coach
Coach Manero enters his 19th season with Plymouth Whitemarsh this spring, and his 12th as the varsity head coach. He spent three seasons at PWHS as the JV coach and four seasons as the Varsity Assistant coach before being promoted to his current position in 2013. From 2008-2012, Manero was the head coach of the Mt. Carmel Club Mounties American Legion Baseball team, where he was named the Greater Norristown League Manager of the Year in 2008. Prior to PWHS, he was an assistant coach at Ridley High School and coached in the Towamencin Connie Mack Baseball Program from 2002-2007.
Coach Manero played high school baseball at North Penn High School, and played in the Perkiomen Valley Twilight League for five seasons with the Nor Gwyn Packers and the Lansdale Tigers.
Coach Manero resides in Plymouth Township and is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania (B.A.) and West Chester University (M.A.). He teaches U.S. Government and Politics at Plymouth Whitemarsh.
Eric Fisher | Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Fisher is an assistant coach on the Colonials varsity staff, working primarily with the infielders. Coach Fisher graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh in 1994, where he was a member of the PIAA AAA State Championship team. He played collegiately at Eckerd College in Tampa, FL and went on to play independent minor league baseball with the Sioux Falls Canaries and the Allentown Ambassadors. Aside from a prolific career with the Norristown A’s in the Perkiomen Valley Twilight League, Coach Fisher has also spent several years as an instructor with Diamond Baseball Academy. He is the special education department chairperson at Plymouth Whitemarsh. Coach Fisher currently coaches in the PWC Pioneers organization and serves as a special instructor for the Colonials high school program in the spring and fall.
Rich Coletta | Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Coletta enters his second season as the Colonials hitting coach. He previously served as the program's head coach in the 2002 and 2003 seasons. His coaching experience spans almost every level of baseball, including stints on the staff at St. Joseph's University and with the Harwich Mariners in the Cape Cod League.
Coach Coletta's baseball career also includes work as an area scout for the Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners. He played collegiately at St. Joseph's University.

In addition to our high school coaches, several current and former high school players will be part of our instructional staff. In recent seasons, the Colonials have graduated players who have gone on to be a part of Division I, II, and II collegiate programs including the University of North Carolina, Penn State University, Lafayette College, Binghamton University, West Chester University, Clarion University,Dickinson College, Immaculata University, Gwynedd Mercy University, and more.
